CULTURE RASTA

 Origin: Dreadlocks are a type of hairstyle from Africa who had the original Rastafarian and represented a lion manes. The Rastafarian culture emerged in the 1930s in Jamaica. The social and spiritual movement was created between marginal social classes, many of them descendants of black slaves who wanted to return to Africa of their ancestors. In their beliefs, it was said that Haile Selassie, or Ras (an incarnation of Yahweh according to them) would take them to the promised land, which they called Mount Zion.

During that time, the Rastafarians were black slum population with marked religious trends. However, what has survived to this day is mostly anti-materialist philosophy and way of seeing things.

• Origen: También conocidos como flogers o floguers, son en su mayoria adolescentes asiduos a páginas webs sociales como fotolog.com o Instagram, donde se relacionan colgando fotos y comentarios. Esta cibertribu surgió en America Latina, más concretamente en Argentina con la expansión de Internet en la mayoria de los hogares de todo el mundo. Hay gente que relacciona a esta tribu con losemos, aunque realmente su filosofia es bastante distinta.

• Atuendo característico: Zapatillas estilo Converse, pantalones de pitillo (con la parte baja de la pierna más ajustada que los pantalones comunes), camisetas amplias y colores llamativos. Suelen llevar el pelo ni largo ni corto (media melena), con flequillo.

Muchos de ellos tienen una visión negativa o dramática de la vida y suelen mostrarse al mundo como pesimistas y victimas de una sociedad creada pensando más en el capital y en los intereses privados que se olvida de las personas y sus verdaderas necesidades.
